Digitalisation
The digitisation of manuscripts is one of the most important concerns of the research centre. In-house digitisation of materials from libraries, archives and educational institutions in Graz is just as much a part of this work as the digitisation of valuable manuscripts, archival materials and more recent documents on a local and international level. The aim is to help develop and establish standards with regard to recording techniques and data processing. A special concern is the object-friendly digitisation. Aspects of book conservation are taken into account here.
